Prose of the Trans Siberian

Prose of the Trans Siberian

This was an experimental short (35 minutes) for which the filmmakers rode the Trans Siberian Railroad across Russia to capture footage.  They then built a train car identical to the one they rode and shot the film entirely in the car.  I play Jeanne, a young woman who is riding the Trans Siberian in order to find new adventure and new meaning for her writing.  I run into the Frenchman, played by Will Janowitz,  who is a seeming romantic interest but who then steals from me and becomes a threatening, looming presence throughout my trip.  The film never got made- the whole project was scrapped because of- well, I don't know exactly; never got the whole story.  But it was beautifully shot, and this is the only footage I was given.
